Our Story
Finlay’s Voice is named after Finlay, a beloved son who tragically lost his life after a devastating experience in an emergency room. In honor of his memory, we strive to bring about urgent and compassionate reform in Canada’s ERs. Our dedication is fueled by the belief that no family should endure what Finlay's family have. We aim to raise awareness about the systemic failures in our ERs by sharing real stories and experiences, shedding light on the cracks in a system meant to provide care.

Sepsis Awareness & Care

In 2017, the World Health Organization identified sepsis as a global health priority, asking its member states to put protocols and actions in place to reduce the number of preventable deaths causes by sepsis.
9 years on and there are still too many deaths caused by this silent killer.

There are currently NO national standards set in Canada for sepsis care.

Finlay's Voice is launching an awareness campaign: Have you thought of sepsis? to share both knowledge and understanding of this global health priority
